Creating a brand

A guided wizard walks you through building a brand kit one step at a time. Nothing is final; every field can be refined later from the brand profile's Settings tab, which reuses the same editors as the wizard.

Quick overview

  1. Start a new brand from the brand overview.
  2. Give it a name, at minimum. That is the only required field.
  3. Work through the remaining six steps in order, or jump to any step you have already reached by clicking its pill.
  4. Review the summary and create the kit.
  5. Land on the new profile's Work tab, ready to attach designs and media.

The step pills across the top track your progress: a check mark for a completed step, a highlighted pill for the current one. You cannot jump ahead of the identity step until a name is entered, but once it is, every later pill becomes clickable in any order.

The seven steps

StepWhat you set
1. IdentityName, tagline, description, category, website, whether it is yours or a client's, and social handles
2. Logo and coverA logo and a cover image, chosen from your media
3. Color paletteSwatches with named roles such as primary, accent, background, and text
4. TypographyA heading and body font, and a full type scale
5. Voice and toneTone, archetype, key messaging, words to use and avoid, and who can see the kit
6. Story and philosophyThe brand's story, mission, and philosophy
7. ReviewA summary you confirm before creating

Step 1: Identity

Short description2,000 charactersFeeds the brand's "about" text and its written guidelines

OwnershipOurs / Client brandChoosing "Client brand" reveals a client name field (160 characters)
Social handles200 characters eachInstagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube

Step 2: Logo and cover

Both images come from the same gallery picker used across the workspace: pick an existing image from your media library or upload a new one on the spot. SVG is recommended for the logo since it stays sharp at any size; PNG, JPG, and WebP all work too. Only a primary logo and a cover image are set here; additional logo variants (a mark-only version, a version for dark backgrounds, a watermark, and so on) are added later from the profile's Settings tab.

Step 3: Color palette

Add, edit, and remove swatches, and give each one a name and an optional role.

RolePurpose
Primary, Secondary, AccentCore brand colors
Background, Text, LinkSurface and content roles used by the contrast checker
Success, Warning, ErrorStatus colors
NeutralAnything else
No roleLeave it unassigned if it does not fit a role yet

The palette starts with one swatch already filled in and set to the primary role, so you never begin from a completely empty palette; edit or delete it like any other swatch. Each swatch has its own color picker plus a typed hex field, a name, and a role dropdown. There is no hard cap on how many swatches you add.

Step 4: Typography

Pick a heading font and a body font first, each from the system font list, from a curated set of web fonts, or by uploading your own file. Below that, a full type scale table lets you override the font, size, weight, line height, and letter spacing for every heading level plus body paragraphs:

LevelDefault sizeDefault weightDefault line height
H148px7001.15em
H236px7001.2em
H328px6001.25em
H422px6001.3em
H518px6001.4em
H616px6001.4em
Paragraph16px4001.6em

Each level defaults to the heading font (paragraph defaults to the body font), and every value in the table can be overridden per level. Letter spacing defaults to 0em.

Uploaded fonts

Uploaded font files are capped at 5MB and must be .ttf, .otf, .woff, or .woff2. Before it is accepted, the file is checked on the server, its magic bytes and internal structure are validated, not just its extension, and you must confirm you have the right to use and embed it. A file that fails validation is rejected outright rather than silently stored. Only upload fonts you are licensed to use.

Step 5: Voice, tone, and sharing

FieldOptionsNotes
Tone12 chips, multi-selectWarm, Professional, Bold, Playful, Luxury, Minimal, Energetic, Trustworthy, Creative, Friendly, Technical, Fun
Archetype12 brand archetypes, single-selectCreator, Explorer, Sage, Hero, Outlaw, Magician, Everyman, Lover, Jester, Caregiver, Ruler, Innocent
Key messaging4,000 charactersYour boilerplate and standout value points

SharingPrivate / Team / OrganizationWho else in your workspace can see this kit

Step 6: Story and philosophy

Three longer text fields: the brand's story (4,000 characters, shown as its "about" text on the profile and used by AI writing helpers elsewhere in the app), its philosophy and values (3,000 characters), and its mission (2,000 characters).

Step 7: Review

A read-only summary: the logo (or a placeholder letter if none was set), name, tagline, category and ownership, every color swatch as a dot, the chosen fonts by role, and the selected tones. Nothing here is editable; use Geri to jump back to a step, or confirm to create the kit and move to its profile.

How to use it

Build a client kit from scratch

  1. From the brand overview, click Marka Oluştur. You land on step 1 (Kimlik).
  2. Type the Marka adı (required), a Slogan, and a one-or-two-sentence Kısa açıklama. Pick a Kategori, and under Sahiplik choose Müşteri markası so a Müşteri adı field appears; fill it in. Add the client's website and social handles if you have them, then click İleri.
  3. On Logo & Kapak, click Galeriden seç under each slot to pick or upload the client's logo (SVG preferred) and a cover image.
  4. On Renk Paleti, the first swatch is pre-set to the primary role. Edit its hex, name, and role, then use Renk ekle for each additional brand color. For the contrast checker later, assign one swatch the bg role and one the text role.
  5. On Tipografi, set the heading and body fonts (each source can be Sistem, Google, or Yüklenen). Adjust the H1-H6 and Paragraf rows in the type scale only if the client has a specific spec.
  6. Fill Ses & Ton, then Hikaye & Felsefe as far as the brief allows (all optional).
  7. On Özet, check the logo, colors, fonts, and tones, then click Markayı Oluştur. You land on the new kit's profile, on the Çalışmalar tab.

Create a minimal kit now, refine later

  1. Click Marka Oluştur, type only the Marka adı, and click each step's pill (or İleri) straight through to Özet.
  2. Click Markayı Oluştur. The kit is created with just a name and the default starter palette and fonts.
  3. Open the kit's profile later and finish it from Ayarlar then Marka Profili, which uses the exact same field editors as the wizard.

Upload a licensed brand font

  1. On the Tipografi step, set the heading (or body) font's source dropdown to Yüklenen.
  2. Type the font's family name, click Font yükle, and pick a .ttf, .otf, .woff, or .woff2 file under 5MB.
  3. The file is validated on the server (signature and structure, not just its extension) and you are confirming you hold the rights to embed it. On success you see "Font doğrulandı ve yüklendi"; a rejected file shows "Font reddedildi" with the reason.

You never start from a blank kit

The wizard seeds a starter state so you are never staring at nothing: the palette opens with one primary swatch, and the typography step opens with a default heading and body font plus a full type scale. Change or replace these as you go, but a kit created with only a name is still complete and usable.

Troubleshooting

  • The İleri button is grayed out on step 1. The Marka adı is empty. Name is the only required field; every other step can be left blank.
  • A later step pill will not click. You have not entered a name yet. Pills ahead of the Identity step stay locked until the brand has a name.
  • Your font upload was rejected ("Font reddedildi"). The file failed server validation (bad signature or structure), is the wrong type, or is over 5MB. Use a real .ttf, .otf, .woff, or .woff2 you are licensed to embed.
  • You cannot leave the palette empty. The step opens with a primary swatch and expects at least one color; deleting every swatch shows a "add at least one primary color" hint.
  • Archetype shows "Seçilmedi." Leaving the archetype unset is fine, it simply stores no archetype; the same is true of any optional field.
  • Words to use or avoid did not split into a list. Separate each entry with a comma. They are parsed into two lists (use, avoid) when the kit is saved.
  • You picked the wrong client owner or category. Nothing is locked in. Create the kit anyway, then correct it in the profile's Settings tab.
  • The Review step will not let you edit anything. By design: the summary is read-only. Use Geri (or an earlier pill) to change a value, then return to Review.
  • The type scale numbers look off in one column. Sizes are in px, while line height and letter spacing are in em. Reset a level by clearing your override so it falls back to the default in the table above.
  • Creation failed with an error toast. The kit could not be saved (for example a network or server error). Your entries stay on screen; fix the issue and click Markayı Oluştur again.
