Brand kits
A brand kit keeps a brand's identity in one place: its colors, fonts, logos, voice, and guidelines. Keep one for yourself and one for each client, so every design stays consistent and on brand. The brand page is the home for every kit in your workspace.
Quick overview
- Open the brand page from the sidebar.
- Read the stat cards for a quick pulse: total kits, active kits, branded work, and branded media.
- Browse your kits as a table or a grid, search by name, or narrow the list with filters.
- Create a brand, or click a row or card to open its profile.
- Assign a kit to your work; see Applying a brand.
Stat cards
Four cards sit above the list: total brands, active brands, branded work, and branded media. Each shows a live count pulled from your whole workspace, not just the filtered list below it. While the count loads, the card shows a placeholder instead of a stale or zeroed number.
Table view
The default layout, and the more information-dense of the two.
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Logo | The brand's logo, or its initial letter if none is set |
| Brand | Name and tagline; click to open the profile |
| Category | One of the 16 category presets, or a dash |
| Ownership | "Ours" or the client's name, with a matching icon |
| Palette | Up to 5 color swatches |
| Font | The brand's heading font (falls back to its first font role) |
| Work / Media | How many designs and media items are tagged to this brand |
| Status | Active, Archived, or Draft, as a colored pill |
| Updated | Last-modified date |
| Actions | Edit, Archive (hidden once already archived), Sil (delete) |
Every column except the logo and actions is sortable by clicking its header. The table paginates at 10 rows per page.
Grid view
Cards instead of rows: a cover photo (or a strip of up to 5 palette swatches when there is no cover), the logo overlapping the top edge, name and status pill, category or ownership, a two-line clamp of the brand's story or description, and work/media counts. Hover a card to reveal the same actions menu as the table.
Search and filters
Search matches a kit's name, tagline, client name, and category, all at once, and updates the list as you type. The filter popover has three independent groups, category (built from whatever categories your existing kits actually use), ownership, and status, plus a badge on the Filtrele button showing how many filters are active and a one-click "clear filters" link once any are set.
States
| State | What you see |
|---|---|
| Loading | Skeleton stat cards, plus 6 skeleton grid tiles or a loading table |
| Error | A message with a "Try again" button, list and stat cards both stay empty |
| Empty (no kits at all) | A centered "Create your first brand" card with a shortcut to the wizard |
| Empty (filtered) | "No matching brand," with a hint to clear filters if search or a filter is active |
Trash
The Çöp Kutusu button swaps the whole list for deleted kits, each showing its deletion date. From there you can restore a kit instantly, or request its permanent deletion.
Permanent deletion needs confirmation
"Kalıcı Sil" does not delete immediately. It sends a one-time confirmation link to your account email, valid for 30 minutes, and only removing the kit once you open that link and confirm. If no outgoing-email connection is configured for your workspace, the link is shown to you directly instead of emailed. Deleting from a row's menu on the main list (not the trash) only moves a kit to the trash; it stays recoverable until you purge it from here.
What a kit holds
A brand kit brings together the brand's identity, its color palette with named roles, its typography and type scale, its logo and cover art, its voice and messaging, and its story. Once a kit exists, you apply it to designs and media to push its look across your work.
| Part | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Identity | Name, tagline, description, category, website, ownership, socials |
| Palette | Named color swatches from the creation wizard or the profile's Settings tab |
| Typography | A heading font, a body font, and a full H1-H6 + paragraph type scale |
| Logo and cover | Picked from your media library; more logo variants can be added later |
| Voice | Tone, archetype, key messaging, and words to use or avoid |
| Story | The brand's story, philosophy, and mission |
Row actions
Every row and card exposes the same three actions from a dropdown: Düzenle (opens the profile), Arşivle (only shown while the kit is not already archived), and Sil (moves it to the trash). None of these are destructive on their own; archiving and the row-level delete are both reversible from the Trash view described below.
Fastest path to on-brand work
Creating a folder or a new design from inside a brand's own profile tags it to that brand automatically. Linking an existing folder to a brand from outside its profile only adds a badge and makes the folder browsable from the brand's Work tab; it does not retroactively tag what is already inside it. See Applying a brand for the full picture.
How to use it
Decide whether you need one kit or several
- Open the brand page from the sidebar and glance at the Toplam marka stat card. If it reads 0, you have not made a kit yet.
- If every design you make is for your own brand, keep a single kit with Ownership = Bize ait (set in the wizard's Identity step). One kit is enough; do not split it per format or campaign, use tags for that instead.
- If you design for multiple clients, make one kit per client and set Ownership = Müşteri markası on each so a client name shows in the Ownership column. That keeps every client's colors, fonts, and logo isolated, and lets you filter and stat each client separately.
- Use the Kategori you pick per kit (one of 16 presets) plus the ownership split to keep a large brand list scannable: the filter popover builds its category group from exactly the categories your kits use.
Find one client's kit in a long list
- Type the client or brand name into the Marka ara box. Search matches name, tagline, client name, and category together and narrows as you type.
- For a heavier list, open Filtrele and set Sahiplik = Müşteri markası (and a Kategori if you use them). The button shows a count badge for how many filters are active.
- Sort by workload: click the Çalışma or Medya column header in table view to bring the busiest kits to the top.
- Click Filtreleri temizle in the popover (or the clear link) to reset when you are done.
Retire and clean up old kits
- To take a kit out of active rotation without losing it, open its row menu and choose Arşivle. The kit stays in the list with an "Arşiv" status pill, and the Arşivle action disappears from its menu once archived. Filter Durum = Arşiv in the popover to see only archived kits.
- To remove a kit, choose Sil from the row menu. This moves it to the trash (recoverable), it does not delete it outright.
- Open Çöp Kutusu to see deleted kits with their deletion dates. Click Geri Yükle to bring one back, or Kalıcı Sil to start the email-confirmed permanent-delete flow. When the trash is empty it shows a designed empty state, not a blank panel.
Archiving and deleting are different
Archiving keeps a kit fully intact and just changes its status, useful for a client you have paused. The row-level Sil is a soft delete that hides the kit until you either restore it or purge it. Only Kalıcı Sil from the trash removes a kit and its records for good.
Common tasks
| Goal | Do this |
|---|---|
| Start a new kit | Click Marka Oluştur (top right) to open the wizard |
| Switch layout | Toggle Tablo / Izgara in the toolbar |
| Sort by most work | Click the Çalışma column header in table view |
| Show only your own brands | Filtrele then Sahiplik = Bize ait |
| Open a kit | Click its row or card, or Düzenle from the row menu |
| See a kit's tagline | Table view shows it under the name; grid view shows the story or description clamp instead |
| Recover a deleted kit | Çöp Kutusu then Geri Yükle |
| Permanently remove a kit | Çöp Kutusu then Kalıcı Sil, then confirm the emailed (or shown) link |
Troubleshooting
- Stat cards keep showing a placeholder and never a number. They are still loading, or the overview request failed. A hard failure shows the "Markalar yüklenemedi" error screen with a Tekrar dene button; click it to retry.
- "Eşleşen marka yok" even though you have kits. A search term or a filter is active. Clear the Marka ara box and click Filtreleri temizle in the popover.
- A category you expect is missing from the filter. The category group only lists categories that at least one of your existing kits actually uses; an unused preset will not appear until a kit is set to it.
- A kit you deleted is still around. The row-level Sil is a soft delete to the trash. It stays in Çöp Kutusu until you run Kalıcı Sil and confirm.
- Kalıcı Sil did not send an email. No outgoing-email connection is configured, so the confirmation link is shown directly in the dialog instead. Open it within 30 minutes to finish.
- The Font column shows a dash. The kit has no fonts set. Add a heading (or body) font from the profile's Typography editor and it will appear here.
- The Palette column is empty. The kit has no swatches yet. Add colors in the profile's Color sub-tab, and up to five show as swatches in the list.
